Streszczenie
Przedmiotem artykułu jest omówienie działalności niemieckich obozów na terenie Kreishauptmannschaft Busko w czasie II wojny światowej. Stanowiły one nie tylko ośrodki eksploatacji gospodarczej, lecz także były ważnym instrumentem terroru niemieckiego. Działalność niemieckich obozów na terenie Kreishautpmannschaft Busko jest wątkiem pomijanym w historiografii polskiej. Według ustaleń autorki na jego obszarze funkcjonowało co najmniej 29 obozów. Przeważającą większość – 17 – stanowiły obozy fortyfikacyjne.
Summary
The subject of the article is an attempt at presenting the activities of German camps in the Kreishauptmannschaft Busko during Second World War. They were not only centers of economic exploitation, but at the same time were an important instrument of German terror. The activity of German camps in the Kreishauptmannschaft Busko is poorly described in Polish historiography. According to the author’s findings, there were at least 29 camps in the Busko poviat. The majority of them were fortification camps.
