Summary
The article is an attempt to reconstruct theoretical and methodological assumptions in the historical work of Łucja Charewiczowa. This topic is part of the history of Polish historiography of the first half of the twentieth century. An analysis is made on select-ed examples of the works from the interwar period. Lvov in the period 1918–1939 was a strong center of historical research and the history of culture, in which Charewiczowa specialized, occupied a significant position.
