About the Journal

Almanach Historyczny has been published annually since 1999 by the Institute of History at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce. It is a general history journal and it addresses various areas of historical scholarship, chronological turning points, from antiquity to modern times. The journal publishes original scholarly articles, source materials, book reviews, scholarly reviews and reports, in Polish, English, German, French, Russian and occasionally other languages.

Almanach Historyczny is the original medium of publication for all articles that the journal prints.

All submissions are double-blind peer reviewed.

The journal does not charge for processing or publication of the manuscript.
